Mark Beckwith is the current Deputy Chief of Police at Augustana College in Illinois. Mark consults nationwide on topics relating to law enforcement and campus safety and was instrumental in Augustana receiving accreditation from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) to be a “Ready to Respond Campus.” Augustana is the ONLY private higher education institution in the United States to have received this prestigious distinction. Mark is the former President of the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System (ILEAS). Mark is a consultant for Guard911 & the Hero911 Network and promotes the innovative ‘app’ technology nationwide to police agencies, other colleges/universities, and the private sector.
