It seems like every day we turn on the TV, there is news about another campus tragedy occurring at a university, community college, or technical institute. Whether you are a chancellor, board member, president, dean, administrator, or staff, you want to protect the students in your care.
It may seem like this threat is out of your control, but there is something we can do together … reduce the notification time and response time of law enforcement arriving at the scene of these tragedies.
The Guard911® family of services has something no other security app has – an established network of 65,000+ federal, state, and local law enforcement officers nationwide who have joined the free law enforcement-exclusive Hero911® network. Every time a CampusGuard911™ panic button is used, all officers who maintain the Hero911® app and are in close proximity to the protected property are notified immediately. This means quicker notification time that will allow for quicker response time in order to save lives and treat the injured.
We at Guard911® are passionate about saving innocent lives. Our CampusGuard911™ app has been deployed in colleges and universities across the country. Is it in yours?

Why CampusGuard911™ Active Shooter App?
The number of active shooters in our schools is increasing at an alarming rate, and on colleges and universities, it’s harder than ever to locate the shooter and keep everyone safe.
According to Homeland Security, it takes 4-11 minutes for a 911 call to be processed and first responders dispatched, and 4-18 minutes for a first responder to be on the scene and act.
The only true solution to saving lives during these incidents is to reduce law enforcement notification and response times, which is what the CampusGuard911™ active shooter alert app does.
With the touch of a smartphone screen, 911 is notified and the Hero911®app is activated, which directly alerts all local, state, and federal officers nearby so they can respond and be there as fast as possible, often faster than those dispatched through 911. It also displays an alert map, which is critical on a campus When Seconds Save Lives®.
The Guard911 program has been implemented in the Mason County School system both public ad private with nothing but compliments from teachers and administrators.

Features of CampusGuard911™
CampusGuard911 goes beyond what any other active shooter panic button can do. It offers the ONLY federally approved, FREE app for our Hero911® network of over 65,000 federal, state, and local officers who can be on campus fast when the alarm button is pushed. There is no better solution proven to save lives since 2013.
I am a School Resource Officer and I believe your app will be of a great assistance to others and myself.

How It Works
The CampusGuard911™ active shooter app technology is simple and powerful.
- Approved staff download the Guard911 app to their smartphones.
- In the event of workplace violence, an armed intruder, or active shooter, approved staff members press the panic button on the screen.
- An alert is immediately sent to all Hero911 participating federal, state, and local law enforcement officers, on and off duty, who are in close proximity to the property.
- The app also simultaneously speed dials 911 and connects the staff member to emergency services.
- All other staff on the property with the app are immediately alerted of the emergency, and a map of the location of the initial alert is displayed on their mobile phones. The map provides situational awareness to your staff, which allows them to react accordingly.
Place a panic button in the hands of your staff and empower them to stop workplace violence with Guard911 – When Seconds Save Lives.
