Future proposal makes school safety a priority
A portion of the Missouri budget has been earmarked for an emergency alert app to be implemented in schools. Governor Parson is expected to issue a request for proposal soon for an emergency alert app to improve the security of our schools and reduce law enforcement notification and response times. Once a vendor is selected, the emergency alert app will be available for free and seamless implementation in every Missouri school.
Guard911 is the best choice for Missouri schools
As Missouri begins to choose a system to safeguard their children, staff, visitors, and school communities, you should know about Guard911 .The SchoolGuard app from Guard911 has provided the fastest, most reliable, one-touch emergency mobile alert system available across the nation since 2013.
Todd Culbertson, Assistant Superintendent for Facilities and Operations of the Lincoln County School District — Missouri states that SchoolGuard from Guard911 is the best choice for Missouri schools.
“As a ‘gatekeeper’ for safety in the Lincoln County R-III School District in Missouri, I can say our district’s safety measures have greatly been enhanced with SchoolGuard. There is comfort in the assurance of a quick response time if it’s ever needed. Furthermore, it is encouraging to offer staff the assurance of a network of law enforcement agencies under the Guard911 umbrella.”
Florida relies on SchoolGuard by Guard911
SchoolGuard by Guard911, created by law enforcement and technology experts with a psychological approach, is the elected system of Florida’s Department of Education and the ONLY app supported by the nationwide Hero911 network of police officers for its simplicity and broad-reaching notifications.
As Detective Tony Stewart of Florida recounted, “SchoolGuard was the first to give some control to the staff in case of emergency and speed up notification and response times. The school district chose it based on its simplicity, affordability, and most notably, the Hero911 network.”
Sheriff Tommy Ford of Bay County is a strong advocate of the user-friendly service, used in all schools in his county.
Ford states, “For over three years, Bay County Schools have relied on safeguarding their school district with the SchoolGuard service offered by Guard911, and I remain a strong advocate to this service.”
Hero911 network protects students and staff
No other emergency alert app in the country gives you a network of over 64,000 federal, state, and local Hero911® first responders who can be there faster than those dispatched through 911, saving critical time When Seconds Save Lives®.
Without any hardware or infrastructure, and at no cost to schools, Guard911’s app can be implemented with training and ready to use within a couple of days.
Missouri should select Guard911’s app to best protect students and staff throughout the state.
